AFC is dedicated to the protection and promotion of Latin American film. As part of this function we provide ‘Film Talk’, an educational forum on countries, topics and genres related to Latin American Cinema. ‘Film Talk’ is a growing online library of movie reviews, discussions and papers. It is a central repository of learning on Latin American film designed for scholars, students and enthusiasts.

As we are at an early stage in development, our list of movies and reviews is incomplete.

Coverage is designed to provide a representative selection of relevant material. The majority of our content however is owed to other leading institutions that have been cited. We encourage you to also peruse their extensive resources.
